Instructions for use

The OSL is issued by the monitoring service in a blister package for the duration of a wearing period (usually one month, maximum three months). The front of the packaging has a label on which, the dosimeter ID, the customer ID, the wearing period and the person assignment can be found. This label is for your dosimeter management only, you can overwrite and stick it. However, another label must not exceed the front of the package and must be made of paper or hydrocarbon plastics (e.g. polyethylene or polypropylene). The total thickness of the sticker and any carrier bag must not exceed 0.2 mm.

The dosimeter must be aligned with the anticipated radiation in such a way that it optimally strikes the probe plane perpendicularly from the front, but always maintains an angle of incidence of + 60 to - 60 degrees.

The dosimeter is suitable for use at an ambient temperature of -10°C to +40°C and a relative humidity of 10% to 90%. It should not be exposed to direct sunlight above 1000 W/m². If necessary, the blister packaging can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
