Short description

Our OSL dosimeter contains two ceramic beryllium oxide (BeO) detectors. These are located on a plastic card (ABS) inside an ultrasonically welded, light-proof dosimeter cassette . Due to BeO's positive dosimetric property of detecting radiation of different energies in all tissues with only small deviations (linearity over a wide energy range and tissue equivalence), detectors made of beryllium oxide are particularly suitable in whole-body dosimetry.

To avoid dose manipulation and contamination by dust and water, all OSL dosimeters are delivered to you in a transparent blister packaging. We would like to point out that no official dose value can be determined if the blister packaging is damaged.

The OSL dosimeter can be attached directly to clothing with a clip or a support frame that includes a clip. You can order support frames in the colors blue, green, yellow, red and pink. As an official personal dosimeter, our OSL dosimeter has a type test certificate from the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB).
